TL;DR

Focus on reducing cognitive load for engineers, managing technical trade-offs in reliability and security, and scaling the paved path for a growing engineering organization.

Location: Must be based in the U.S.

Compensation: $200K – $400K

What you will do

  • Lead the Platform team in building a self-serve developer platform encompassing infrastructure, tools, and processes.
  • Co-own customer outcomes with product teams, applying a customer-centric mindset to solve engineering bottlenecks.
  • Balance technical direction, execution, and people development, coaching engineers to maintain high delivery standards.
  • Define and build the "paved path" to reduce cognitive load and centralize cross-cutting friction.
  • Manage technical risks and opportunities introduced by AI-augmented and AI-autonomous development.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Strong first-principles thinking with the ability to dive deep into complex problems.
  • Proven ownership and judgement in taking responsibility for technical outcomes.
  • Deep technical strength to reason about trade-offs in systems, infrastructure, reliability, and security.
  • Customer-centric approach to prioritization and problem-solving.
