Location: Hybrid (Must be based in an hirify.global-supported location and work from the Washington, D.C. office at least 2 days a week)

Salary: $124,200 - $136,000

What you will do

  • Manage a team of at least 12 audio engineers, including performance reviews, hiring, and professional development.
  • Oversee technical operations and content creation at hirify.global Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
  • Provide 24/7 immediate response to technology outages and staffing emergencies.
  • Collaborate on the development and enforcement of production workflows across multiple departments and locations.
  • Ensure high-quality standards for radio, audio/video podcasts, and video streaming.
  • Maintain disaster recovery systems and critical technical documentation for broadcast systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional production, audio, and/or broadcast experience.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience or team leadership.
  • Knowledge of broadcast systems, automation, audio/video routers, and production workflows.
  • Ability to work off-hours, weekends, and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in broadcast engineering, communications, or management.
  • Must be able to work from the Washington, D.C. office at least 2 days a week.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AOIP protocols such as Ravenna, AES67, Tieline, and Comrex.
  • Proficiency in AVID Pro Tools, Riverside, Descript, or Broadcast Bionics.
  • Familiarity with IT networking and no-code databases.
  • Management experience within a union environment (e.g., NABET).
