Upgrade Engineer (EUV)

Location: Kaohsiung, Taiwan; international travel to field offices and customer sites worldwide required, up to 70%

What you will do

• Execute hardware upgrades, system setups, difficult field swaps, and bring-to-spec packages for EUV products.
• Install and troubleshoot upgrade hardware at customer sites in close cooperation with generalists and coordinators.
• Perform post-upgrade recovery, analysis, and activities that improve cycle time and system performance.
• Apply zero-error repeat practices during upgrade preparation and execution.
• Maintain and expand upgrade capabilities and engineering knowledge to resolve most issues without escalation.
• Travel internationally for upgrade implementation, field support, and training, including uninterrupted periods of up to 6–8 weeks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical technology, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, physics, or computer science.
• Experience in customer support for high-tech products, preferably photo-lithography, electro-mechanical systems, or ultra-clean vacuum systems.
• General knowledge of lithography machines and strong technical, analytical, documentation, and hands-on skills.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Flexibility to travel to Taiwan, Korea, the USA, Israel, and other countries on short notice, up to 70% of the time.
• Willingness to support CS Upgrades for at least 2–3 years after completing training.
