TL;DR

Regulatory & Policy Manager (Aerospace): Leading engagement with government stakeholders and regulatory agencies to shape global space policy and ensure compliance with an accent on spectrum allocation and international space governance. Focus on navigating complex regulatory frameworks (FCC, ITU, ITAR/EAR) and supporting international market expansion for PNT satellite infrastructure.

Location: Hybrid; must be based onsite in Burlingame, California or Washington, D.C.

Salary: $150,000 – $250,000 + Equity

hirify.global is a navigational intelligence company developing the Pulsar LEO satellite infrastructure to provide high-precision, centimeter-level global positioning.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute global regulatory strategies focusing on spectrum allocation, PNT services, and space traffic management.
  • Lead engagements with U.S. agencies (FCC, FAA, NASA, State, Commerce) and manage relationships with foreign governments and the ITU.
  • Analyze domestic and international space regulations, treaties, and export controls to advise leadership on geopolitical risks.
  • Support licensing and authorization processes for satellite operations, launches, and spectrum use.
  • Represent the company in international forums, trade associations, and diplomatic discussions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, engineering, and executive teams to advance strategic objectives worldwide.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Law, Aerospace Policy, or related field (Advanced degree preferred).
  • 7–15+ years of experience in government affairs, regulatory policy, or aerospace.
  • Deep understanding of ITU frameworks, FCC licensing, and export controls (ITAR/EAR).
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or other protected individual per U.S. Government export regulations.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
