What you will do
- Build and grow a qualified pipeline of top 20 pharma and biotech leads from generation through close.
- Lead complex, multi-quarter sales cycles involving R&D, BD/licensing, and IT stakeholders.
- Manage pharma accounts end-to-end, focusing on executive relationships, expansion, and renewal planning.
- Collaborate with product, science, and leadership teams to scope high-value engagements.
- Coordinate technical RFI and DDQ responses, routing scientific queries to internal experts.
- Develop a repeatable GTM playbook and maintain revenue CRM and BD tooling.
Requirements
- BS, MS, PhD, or equivalent experience in biology, chemistry, bioengineering, or adjacent fields.
- 2-5+ years of client-facing experience in pharma BD, alliance management, strategy consulting, or pharma-tech enterprise sales.
- Track record of managing multi-quarter pursuits through stakeholder orchestration and proof-of-value milestones.
- Strong written and verbal communication with disciplined execution and ability to work with limited oversight.
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, technical, cross-functional startup environment.
- Hands-on use of AI tools in day-to-day workflows.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AI/ML applied to target identification, generative models, or computational biology.
- Direct exposure to enterprise R&D buying cycles in pharma, biotech, or therapeutics.
- Previous experience in frontier AI sales or as a founder/early GTM hire.
