TL;DR

Traveling Neurology Account Specialist (Neurology): Driving sales performance and customer engagement within rotational neurology territories across the US East region with an accent on neurology disease-state expertise and ALS patient therapy initiation. Focus on executing selling strategies, managing high-impact accounts, and maintaining professional relationships with KOLs and neurologists.

Location: Philadelphia, PA, USA (Field-based with 100% travel)

Salary: $145,000 - $165,000 yearly

What you will do

  • Provide short-term territory coverage across the US East region to support open territories and launches.
  • Execute approved selling strategies and dynamic territory business plans to meet or exceed sales objectives.
  • Act as the primary contact for key accounts, triaging requests and representing the organization until permanent placement.
  • Communicate complex scientific and clinical information regarding neurology and ALS to healthcare professionals in a compliant manner.
  • Collaborate with Medical Science Directors, Regional Business Directors, and Patient Access teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage administrative duties including travel scheduling and activity logging in Veeva and Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with 2 years in Neurology or rare diseases strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in industry platforms: Veeva, Salesforce, and Concur, as well as Office 365 (Excel).
  • Valid driver’s license and required state licenses for the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to travel 100% of the time.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to analyze key performance metrics and market opportunities.
