Location: Hybrid in Vancouver, BC

Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 CAD base + performance bonus + equity

A dual-listed fintech company (TSX/NASDAQ) operating in a fast-paced financial environment.

What you will do

  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting working papers for monthly and quarterly close.
  • Support IFRS financial reporting and the preparation of internal and external reporting packages.
  • Manage fund accounting activities, reconciliations, and reporting processes.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit support schedules for fund and corporate audits.
  • Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve accounting workflows and automation initiatives.

Requirements

  • CPA designation required.
  • 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in Vancouver, BC.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting fundamentals.
  • Experience supporting external audits and preparing audit schedules.
  • Big 4 public practice experience strongly preferred.

Nice to have

  • Experience within financial services, fintech, investment funds, or public company clients.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems.
