Location: Hybrid (Vancouver, BC). Must be based in British Columbia and eligible to work in Canada

Salary: $95,000 – $110,000/year

What you will do

• Manage full-cycle accounting and payroll, including AR, vendor invoices, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual financial statements and supporting working papers.
• Oversee tax compliance for GST, PST, WCB, EHT and manage the annual T1 program.
• Coordinate with the Finance Director to respond to annual and 3rd party audit queries.
• Manage and train the AP Clerk and Payroll Administrator.
• Maintain the Chart of Accounts, General Ledger, and accounting filing systems.

Requirements

• Must be based in British Columbia and eligible to work in Canada
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a mid-senior level accounting role.
• CPA Designation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computerized accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the Visual Effects industry.
• Experience with SAP ByDesign.
