What you will do

• Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and review complex journal entries, accruals, and financial statements.
• Conduct financial analysis, variance reporting, and account reconciliations.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
• Contribute to process improvements to enhance departmental efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA or Master's preferred).
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, general ledger, and closing processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
• Must be based in Ontario.
