Technology Data Solutions Engineer - Assistant Vice President (TypeScript/Python)

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, United States; hybrid schedule with office work Monday–Thursday and remote work on Friday

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and enhance web applications using TypeScript on the frontend and Python on the backend.
• Work end-to-end on new features, enhancements, and defect resolution across hirify.global software platforms.
• Apply system design, architecture, and trade-off analysis to technical solutions.
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical design discussions, stand-ups, and peer code reviews.
• Partner with Product Management to detail requirements, review work in progress, and address issues identified during manual testing.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to software development and change management processes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise SaaS cloud-based solutions.
• 5+ years of Python development experience and 5+ years of hands-on TypeScript experience.
• Understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling practices.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies including Kubernetes and AWS.
• Experience working with Agile or Kanban methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and independent working skills.
