Electrical Designer (Solar Engineering)

What you will do

• Perform detailed design for PV electrical power systems, including one-line and three-line diagrams.
• Create technical drawings for conduit and cable sizing, routing, grounding, and general arrangements.
• Develop conceptual and high-level designs during the bidding stage of projects.
• Prepare project documentation, including basis of designs and bills of materials.
• Conduct QA/QC checks on design work and contribute to the development of CAD standards.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure deliverables are high-quality, on time, and within budget.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering or a related field.
• 2-5+ years of experience in engineering design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills in English.
