Focus on overseeing day-to-day branch functions, month-end accounting close, and facility maintenance.

Location: Birmingham, AL / Pelham, AL, United States (Onsite)

What you will do

  • Manage day-to-day administrative functions and foster a culture of safety and compliance.
  • Oversee HR processes including new hire paperwork, time and attendance, and performance management support.
  • Supervise month-end branch accounting close and handle accounts receivable/payable tasks.
  • Maintain the branch facility in coordination with the Branch Manager and Landlord.
  • Coordinate with Regional Human Resources and Labor Relations regarding disciplinary actions and terminations.
  • Manage branch vendors and subcontractors, including onboarding and required paperwork.

Requirements

  • College degree in business administration or 2 years of office management experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional office environment (preferred).
  • Intermediate to Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working in an ERP platform (e.g., Oracle, SAP) is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws involving equal employment opportunity and employee leave.
