What you will do

• Lead supplier partner and CM industrialization processes from design through production ramp-up.
• Manage APQP and PPAP processes with supplier partners and OEM customers.
• Develop pFMEA, Control Plans, capability analysis, MSAs, and DOEs in alignment with automotive requirements.
• Lead root cause and corrective action efforts (8D, 5-Why) for supplier or field-related quality issues.
• Monitor and report quality metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet industry and company quality standards.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality or manufacturing, ideally in automotive, aerospace, robotics, or medical devices.
• Strong experience with supplier audits, APQP, PPAP, and production ramp-ups.
• Comprehensive understanding of the quality toolbox (SPC, 8D root cause analysis, GD&T, control standards).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality systems.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 25%.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CQE, Six Sigma Green Belt, or Quality Auditor.
• Experience with ISO 26262.
• Proficiency in Minitab or Jira.
