Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (AI): Developing and deploying secure identity infrastructure for AI agents within strategic enterprise customers with an accent on agentic security, fine-grained authorization, and production-grade integrations. Focus on architecting kill-switches, implementing ReBAC/ABAC policies, and bridging the gap between AI governance and technical execution.

Location: Hybrid. Must be based in or near Bellevue (WA), Chicago (IL), San Francisco (CA), or Toronto (Canada) and be available for regular on-site presence at customer locations.

Salary: $200,000 — $275,000 USD

What you will do

• Act as the primary technical partner for strategic enterprise customers to implement agent identity.
• Write production code and deploy hirify.global's security stack (XAA, FGA, MCP Gateway) within customer environments.
• Collaborate with C-level executives (CISO, CIO) to translate AI governance into technical architecture.
• Ensure deployments align with security frameworks like OWASP Top 10 for Agentic Apps, NIST AI RMF, and MITRE ATLAS.
• Build observability tools for authorization latency, scope sprawl, and rogue agent detection.
• Convert field insights and recurring gaps into reusable product modules for the core engineering team.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience shipping production software with operational maturity in high-throughput auth systems.
• Deep expertise in identity protocols: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, and token exchange.
• Proficiency in fine-grained authorization (ReBAC, ABAC) and policy engines like OPA or Cedar.
• Hands-on experience building production integrations with LLM providers (Claude, GPT, Bedrock) or frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI).
• Ability to navigate complex corporate environments and brief senior leadership.
• Regular on-site presence at customer locations is required.
