What you will do

• Partner with business teams to identify and prioritize high-impact manual workflows for automation.
• Design and implement multi-step, tool-augmented agent workflows using planner-executor and reflection-based architectures.
• Develop stateful agent systems with human-in-the-loop controls, including approval gates and fallback mechanisms.
• Integrate with internal Agentic AI Foundations platform components like orchestration, memory, and guardrails.
• Establish technical patterns for agent design to be reused across the organization.
• Ensure operational excellence through continuous performance assessment and failure-mode analysis.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML systems or LLM-powered applications in production.
• Deep hands-on experience with LLM APIs and at least one agentic framework (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen).
• Strong Python skills and experience building production-grade backend services, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Proven ability to operate in ambiguity and define technical solutions for undefined business problems.
• Strong systems thinking with a focus on reliability, observability, and maintainability.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-agent systems, workflow orchestration, or complex tool-use patterns.
• Familiarity with evaluation frameworks like LangSmith, Weights & Biases, or Arize.
• Experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases, or knowledge graphs.
• Background in a regulated industry such as fintech, healthcare, or government.
• Familiarity with AI safety practices, including prompt injection prevention and data privacy.
