What you will do

• Develop agent orchestration frameworks for multi-step reasoning and constraint-based problem solving in banking workflows.
• Build and calibrate RAG pipelines covering embedding generation, chunking, and hybrid retrieval for banking document types.
• Create LLM integration layers connecting banking models, APIs, and knowledge bases into reliable, auditable workflows.
• Design evaluation infrastructure including behavioral contracts, regression baselines, and production observability.
• Develop backend services and REST APIs powering client-facing AI products with bank-tier uptime requirements.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years building and shipping production agentic AI or RAG systems.
• Proficiency in Python (async, APIs) and agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, PydanticAI, or AutoGen.
• Hands-on experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, FAISS) and retrieval evaluation.
• Deep knowledge of LLM tool calling, structured outputs, and behavioral regression testing.
• Experience with REST APIs and Azure cloud.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in fintech, banking, or highly regulated industries.
• Experience with graph databases (Neo4j, ArangoDB, Dgraph) and MCP / connector architecture.
• Experience building multi-tenant SaaS with strict auditability and compliance requirements.
