Paralegal (Insurance)

TL;DR

Paralegal (Insurance): Supporting lawyers in the Property Risks and Coverage Recoveries team with an accent on insurance claims and recovery matters. Focus on document collation, legal research, and ensuring strict compliance with SRA standards.

Location: Hybrid (Bolton, UK). Work arrangement: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.

What you will do

• Collate and chase documents necessary for lawyers to determine case strategy.
• Perform legal research and complete factual chronologies.
• Diarise Court orders and manage other critical case dates.
• Arrange conferences and coordinate the attendance of Counsel and expert witnesses.
• Ensure all work complies with SRA Standards & Regulations.

Requirements

• Degree level education and/or Post graduate qualification.
• Ability to prioritize workload and maintain high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in working with case management systems.
• Must be able to work from the Bolton office (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Previous experience working in a team that handles insurance claims.
• Knowledge of the specific types of disputes dealt with by the PRC team.
