What you will do

• Design and enforce compliance frameworks to enable safe scaling of digital financial services.
• Serve as the primary contact with the FCA and relevant UK regulatory bodies.
• Lead regulatory readiness for market entry, licensing, and ongoing supervision.
• Build and maintain policies covering AML, KYC, data privacy, and consumer duty.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement remediation plans for identified gaps.
• Partner with product, operations, and legal teams to ensure compliant execution of new models.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United Kingdom.
• 8+ years of compliance, risk, or regulatory experience in financial services, insurance, or fintech.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the insurance industry.
• Deep understanding of UK regulatory frameworks, specifically FCA rules and consumer duty.
• Proven ability to design policies, conduct risk assessments, and manage complex programs.
• Strong communication skills with experience managing relationships with regulators.

• Experience in start-up or high-growth environments.
• Background in insurtech, digital distribution, or online marketplaces.
