Location: Remote, must be a US Citizen based in the Washington DC area

Salary: $225,000–$275,000

What you will do

  • Lead business development efforts for Department of War (DoW) programs.
  • Build and manage a pipeline consisting of contracts, OTAs, and SBIRs.
  • Engage directly with senior defense stakeholders and the Pentagon.
  • Shape and capture opportunities from early identification through to award.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with primes, innovation organizations, and tech companies.
  • Advise executive leadership on growth strategy and market positioning.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in defense, government, or national security roles.
  • Senior-level leadership experience (military, government, or equivalent).
  • Deep knowledge of Department acquisition, funding, and stakeholder landscapes.
  • Proven track record of converting mission needs into funded programs.
  • Must be a US Citizen based in the Washington DC area.

Nice to have

  • Experience integrating technology into DoW programs.
  • Background in AI, autonomy, cyber, or space technologies.
  • Experience leading business development teams.
