Salary: $57 – $62.50 per hour

What you will do

• Commission and optimize AV systems, focusing on audio, video, displays, and networking to ensure they operate as designed.
• Collaborate closely with system programmers to troubleshoot, load new code, and ensure control system functionality.
• Lead technical teams on large-scale projects to ensure smooth completion and high quality.
• Perform basic code and touch panel updates under the guidance of the assigned programmer.
• Mentor and provide remote assistance and support to other Field Engineers.
• Diagnose complex technical problems and formulate effective solutions.

Requirements

• AVIXA CTS Certification is required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.
• 5+ years of directly related experience as a Field Engineer.
• Associates/Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of networking and familiarity with audio/video and network-based equipment.

Nice to have

• AVIXA CTS-D or CTS-I certifications.
• DSP certifications from Biamp, QSC, or BSS.
• Level one programming/configuration certifications from Crestron or Extron.
• ISF Certification for displays.
