What you will do

• Lead and manage a team of Strategic Project Leads across multiple high-stakes AI data projects simultaneously.
• Own delivery outcomes, including throughput, quality, SLA performance, and cost efficiency.
• Translate researcher requirements into operational plans for custom data pipelines and expert labeling workflows.
• Collaborate with AI lab researchers and procurement partners to define data strategies and resolve escalations.
• Standardize playbooks and improve internal tooling to increase delivery speed and reliability.
• Coach and develop team members while ensuring high-quality AI Trainer experiences and contributor retention.

Requirements

• 5+ years in operationally intensive roles such as marketplace, data ops, or logistics.
• 1+ year of people management with proven impact on team performance.
• Strong metrics-driven approach and systems-thinking for operations.
• Experience owning delivery outcomes in high-velocity, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Proficiency in using LLMs for daily work, including building scripting logic and handling large datasets.
• Location: Must be based in San Francisco, CA

Nice to have

• Experience in AI data operations (RLHF, annotation, model evaluation).
• STEM background or strong technical fluency.
• Working knowledge of Python and React.
• Experience managing distributed contributor workforces at scale.
• Background in management consulting, investment banking, or high-growth startups.
