What you will do
- Drive sales growth across multiple product lines in the assigned territory.
- Build relationships and identify growth opportunities via regular visits to Home Depot and Lowe's retail locations.
- Conduct product knowledge and training sessions for retail staff to improve brand advocacy.
- Manage displays, signage, and pricing accuracy across all stores.
- Collaborate with Pro Sales teams and distributor reps to support Pro-focused programs and events.
- Partner with internal marketing and product teams to optimize sales messaging and product assortments.
Requirements
- 1+ year of client-facing sales experience.
- Must be based in the Bay Area, CA with the ability to perform daily local travel.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and a proven ability to build long-lasting professional relationships.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize competing tasks.
Nice to have
- Degree in Business, Sales, or a related field of study.
- Prior field sales experience.
- Background in the building materials or millwork industry (windows, doors, decking, etc.).
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Dynamics.
