What you will do

• Execute business plans to generate pipeline and revenue within the assigned SLED territory.
• Prospect new target accounts and manage existing ones to expand market penetration and growth.
• Build strong relationships with clients and leverage networks to expand into new accounts or buying centers.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Services teams to create compelling business propositions.
• Leverage channel partners, distributors, and technology partners to extend reach and impact.
• Manage territory forecasts and document sales steps utilizing Salesforce CRM.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software sales experience in the SLED space, specifically in the Northeast US territory (especially New York).
• Proven experience managing major accounts or working within State/Local Departments, Agencies, or Academic Institutions.
• Strong ability to close business and build relationships at all levels within prospect and partner organizations.
• Solid business and operations acumen, particularly within the Government sector.
• Experience utilizing generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Gong) for account planning and meeting preparation.
• Must be based in the United States.
