Salary: $120,000 – $135,000

What you will do

• Manage and mentor a team of copywriters and strategists, fostering a culture of craft excellence and accountability.
• Lead concept development for integrated campaigns, partnering with art directors and designers.
• Translate creative briefs into strategically grounded big ideas that align with brand objectives.
• Establish and champion a rigorous creative process for briefing, concepting, and execution.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop AI-driven creative workflows and automation to increase speed.
• Oversee copy development across video scripts, brand messaging, product marketing, and retail experiences.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in creative copywriting, with significant time in agency environments.
• Proven portfolio of concept-driven campaigns and strategic thinking.
• Experience leading and mentoring writers within a high-performing team.
• Ability to persuasively present and defend creative rationale to senior stakeholders.
• Must be based in or able to work from Austin, TX or Santa Monica, CA.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (fluent in speaking, reading, and writing).
