Manager of Project Accountant (EPC)

What you will do

• Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis across multiple projects and legal entities.
• Lead a project accounting team of 2 to 3 people.
• Manage North America and global project revenue recognition based on ASC 606.
• Prepare and maintain Estimate at Completion (EAC) and cash flow forecasts to flag risks early.
• Partner with operations to enforce cost controls, track change orders, and ensure WIP and backlog integrity.
• Own the monthly close deliverables, including revenue entries, cost accruals, and project margin analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience.
• 5+ years of work experience in project accounting and/or cost control.
• Must be based in or work from the Canonsburg, PA office.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition per ASC 606 and the project financial lifecycle.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience in construction, EPC, manufacturing, or capital projects.
• Experience with multi-entity, international project environments.
• ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Viewpoint, etc.).
