Associate Cost Accountant

What you will do

• Review and report on production and aftermarket inventory transactions.
• Prepare inventory journal entries and support month-end close for inventory, cost of sales, and manufacturing activity.
• Analyze BOMs to support accurate product costing and investigate cost variances.
• Reconcile inventory accounts and support physical inventories, cycle counts, and build station audits.
• Prepare reports and analyses for financial reporting and inventory valuation.
• Collaborate with Finance, Production, and Supply Chain on cost and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
• 0-2 years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Ability to work onsite in Pleasanton, CA, and navigate a manufacturing environment.
