What you will do

• Manage payroll accounting operations, including journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting support.
• Perform and review complex payroll-related balance sheet reconciliations, including approximately 100 annual reconciliations.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close activities to ensure adherence to corporate deadlines.
• Support tax reporting requirements and respond to financial disclosure requests.
• Develop and improve payroll accounting processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk.
• Partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, Tax, and Internal Audit teams to support compliance initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in payroll accounting, financial accounting, or related corporate accounting functions.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control requirements.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Warren, NJ.
