What you will do

• Lead end-to-end federal financial statement audit engagements, including overall project planning, resource allocation, and delivery.
• Own the quality of engagement-wide work products, ensuring they are technically sound and compliant with GAGAS and FAM.
• Direct and perform detailed reviews of workpapers, findings, and reports for technical accuracy and consistency.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client leadership regarding audit scope, status, and conclusions.
• Apply deep expertise in the Federal Credit Reform Act (FCRA) to evaluate subsidy models and financial reporting.
• Coach and develop audit staff through real-time feedback and formal technical training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting degree preferred).
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience leading federal financial statement audit engagements.
• Demonstrated expertise in GAGAS, GAO Financial Audit Manual (FAM), and the Federal Credit Reform Act (FCRA).
• Ability to pass required federal background checks.
