Audit Manager (Health Care Industry)

Location: Remote, must be based in California and comfortable engaging with clients across the state.

Salary: $97,000–$131,000

CPA firm providing audit, accounting, and consulting services with a focus on healthcare practices, particularly senior living clients ranging from nonprofits to multi-entity for-profits.

What you will do

• Manage audit, review, compilation engagements and multiple teams, providing performance feedback.
• Partner with senior leaders on risk assessment, audit procedures, and reporting.
• Oversee daily operations including staffing, planning, budgeting, fieldwork, and financial reporting.
• Research complex accounting matters, ensure GAAP compliance, and assist with FASB updates.
• Instruct in firm training programs and lead community, networking, and business development.

Requirements

• Must be based in California.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• CPA certification required; CCIFP preferred.
• At least 5 years of public accounting experience in healthcare/senior living.
• Prior supervisory experience.
