TL;DR

Senior Manager, Architecture and Design Sales (Building Products): Leading the strategy and execution of architectural engagement across all Outdoors brands with an accent on specification opportunities and strategic customer relationships. Focus on creating a unified strategy for the Manifest Collective portfolio and expanding brand presence in commercial and residential markets.

Location: Remote eligible; must reside near a major airport and be able to perform up to 50% domestic travel

Salary: $105,000 – $150,000 USD

What you will do

  • Develop and lead the Architecture & Design sales strategy across all Outdoors brands to grow specification opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with architects, designers, and specification writers nationwide.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach the sales team, fostering an inclusive and relationship-focused environment.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, R&D, Engineering, and Marketing to align product direction with customer needs.
  • Deliver presentations and facilitate AIA-accredited continuing education programs for industry professionals.
  • Manage specification activity and project follow-up through CRM management.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in architectural specification, outside sales, or A&D engagement roles.
  • 5+ years of leadership or people management experience, including coaching and team development.
  • Extensive experience working with architects and designers in commercial and residential markets.
  • Strong understanding of the architectural sales cycle and specification-driven sales strategy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% domestically.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Experience within the cladding, millwork, glazing, or exterior building products industry.
  • Strong understanding of exterior building science and technical drawings.
  • Experience leading national or multi-regional A&D initiatives.
