TL;DR

Staff Solutions Engineer (Cloud/DevOps): Acting as a trusted technical advisor for Enterprise prospects to design architectures and implement PoCs with an accent on cloud platforms and SDLC optimization. Focus on translating complex client requirements into scalable solutions and influencing the product roadmap through customer feedback.

Location: Must be based in the United States. 50% travel required.

Salary: $204,000 - $330,000 (depending on geographic zone)

What you will do

  • Drive technical discovery, architecture design, and PoC implementation throughout the pre-sales lifecycle.
  • Partner with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to create compelling technical value propositions.
  • Deliver high-impact demonstrations and proposals tailored to C-level and technical stakeholders.
  • Liaise between customers and internal Product and Engineering teams to influence the product roadmap.
  • Lead cross-regional technical initiatives and mentor junior team members to foster technical excellence.
  • Manage RFPs and technical environments to support enterprise sales motions.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or systems architecture in customer-facing roles.
  • Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Extensive background in SDLC, cloud architecture, or DevOps.
  • Experience with security and compliance frameworks such as PII, PCI, and HIPAA.
  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time.
