Staff Solutions Engineer (Cloud/DevOps)

Location: Remote within the United States, US Central; 50% travel required.

Salary: $204,000–$330,000 annual target pay depending on US geographic zone, plus RSUs and benefits.

What you will do

• Drive technical discovery, architecture design, and proof-of-concept implementation throughout the pre-sales lifecycle.
• Partner with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to develop technical value propositions for enterprise customers.
• Deliver tailored demonstrations, workshops, proposals, and thought leadership to C-level and technical stakeholders.
• Translate complex customer requirements into scalable, sustainable, and technically sound solutions.
• Connect customer feedback with Product and Engineering teams to influence the product roadmap.
• Lead cross-regional technical initiatives, improve SE frameworks, mentor junior team members, respond to RFPs, and support enterprise sales environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or customer-facing systems architecture.
• Extensive cloud platform knowledge with expertise in at least one of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience leading and documenting proof of concepts and building technical and deal champions.
• Experience with PII, PCI, and HIPAA security and compliance frameworks, plus SDLC, cloud architecture, or DevOps expertise.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting thought leadership to the broader industry.
