TL;DR

Outbound Account Executive (Retail): Driving revenue growth by building and closing a sales pipeline for retail SMBs with an accent on outbound motion and consultative selling. Focus on managing the full sales cycle, executing structured discovery, and delivering high-impact product demos.

Location: Hybrid, based out of the Toronto office (in-office every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end pipeline from targeted outreach to closing and expanding deals within the territory.
  • Execute outbound strategies and optimize cadences for defined market segments.
  • Lead consultative discovery sessions and product demos to uncover real business challenges.
  • Manage forecasts and pipeline accuracy using Salesforce to deliver against targets.
  • Collaborate with SDRs and leadership to refine sales strategy and elevate team performance.
  • Navigate pricing and negotiations using structured deal strategies to protect value.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of building pipeline through outbound motion.
  • Experience managing and forecasting a sales pipeline to consistently hit targets.
  • Ability to own the full sales cycle from first touch to close.
  • Strong discovery skills and a proactive approach to creating momentum.
  • Must be based in or able to work from the Toronto office on the required hybrid schedule.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Salesforce.com.
  • Experience in the SaaS industry.
  • Retail industry experience.
