• Develop and implement functional genomics techniques and high-throughput screening strategies.
• Design, plan, and execute independent research projects within a multidisciplinary team.
• Analyze and interpret complex experimental data to characterize disease-relevant cell models.
• Collaborate with experimental and computational scientists to determine molecular disease mechanisms.
• Mentor and supervise other lab members.
• Contribute to scientific publications, presentations, and funding proposals.

Requirements

• PhD in molecular biology, cellular biology, or a related discipline.
• Experience in mammalian cell culture, cell-based assay development, and molecular biology.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with imaging-based approaches and genome editing.
• Proficiency in arrayed or pooled screening.
• Experience with single-cell ATAC or RNA-sequencing and large dataset analysis.
• Background working with adipocyte primary cells and cell models.
