What you will do

  • Drive new Lakebase revenue by identifying and closing opportunities within the EMEA territory in partnership with Account Executives.
  • Position Lakebase as the optimal choice for operational workloads powering real-time, AI-driven experiences.
  • Manage complex sales cycles from initial discovery and value hypothesis through commercial negotiation and closing.
  • Orchestrate proof-of-value and POCs to validate benefits for OLTP-style workloads and AI/ML-driven applications.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to shape territory plans and co-selling motions.
  • Enable field sales teams by sharing best practices and scaling Lakebase proficiency across the organization.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience with a track record of exceeding quotas in complex deals.
  • Proven success selling data platforms, operational databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL), or AI infrastructure to technical buyers.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native services, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  • Ability to lead C-level conversations and whiteboard architectures for senior decision makers.
  • Demonstrated experience leading specialist or overlay sales motions.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience with OLTP workloads and transactional cloud database services in strategic accounts.
  • Familiarity with lakehouse architectures and cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Understanding of reverse ETL and real-time decisioning use cases.
  • Exposure to AI-native and agent-driven applications.
  • Prior experience in high-growth, category-creating environments.
