Service Engineer for Rotating Equipment

Location: Hybrid work in Portugal, Hungary, or Romania; remote work is permitted within the country.

What you will do

• Monitor large gas turbine components and prepare condition-based technical assessments.
• Collect and evaluate operational data, coordinate risk analyses, and identify performance improvements.
• Prepare outage plans, project-specific checklists, and maintenance documentation.
• Provide technical support during outages on site and remotely, including troubleshooting and technical clarifications.
• Participate in technical projects, root cause analyses, customer meetings, and corrective-action implementation.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Energy Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• Basic understanding of gas turbines, turbomachinery, or power plant technologies.
• Structured, analytical, solution-oriented approach with strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Fluent English and flexibility for business travel and participation in the Engineering 24/7 hotline on demand, approximately 20%.

Nice to have

• Experience with technical projects, project management, risk analysis, data evaluation, or technical documentation.
• Familiarity with Oracle, Power BI, or low-code programming languages.
