What you will do

• Build and maintain cost and life-cycle CO2e assessment models for automotive components and modules.
• Analyze supplier cost breakdowns and identify key cost drivers to meet design-to-cost targets.
• Collaborate with engineering and sourcing teams during the new business quoting phase.
• Identify and drive category strategy activities, including benchmarking and supplier scouting.
• Develop cost engineering infrastructure and analytics to track trends and improvements.
• Influence cross-functional teams to align on technical and cost-effective design solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in cost engineering, VA/VE, automotive procurement, or advanced manufacturing.
• Proven ability to solve complex technical topics and influence stakeholders.
• Experience with complex components, modules, and assemblies.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% (domestic and international).

• Master’s degree in engineering.
