Supplier Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Investigate supplier-related quality issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Manage supplier complaints, follow up on resolutions, and verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor supplier performance, track KPIs, and prepare regular reports.
• Develop action plans for critical suppliers and conduct supplier audits.
• Support quality assessment and approval of new suppliers, including APQP and PPAP documentation reviews.
• Collaborate with Production, Logistics, Engineering, Quality, and external suppliers on risk assessments and quality improvement projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or another relevant technical field.
• Fluent communication in Hungarian and English and/or German is required.
• Knowledge of automotive quality tools and methodologies, including 8D, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and understanding of production processes.
• Strong analytical, root-cause analysis, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and measurable supplier quality results.
