R&D Patisserie Specialist (Food Technology)

Location: Budapest, Hungary; travel within Hungary and occasional international travel up to 30% of the time

What you will do

• Develop new patisserie mix products through formulation, process optimization, and technical documentation.
• Adapt products for local customers, support sales development, and transfer relevant innovations from headquarters and the region to the Hungarian market.
• Benchmark competitor products and optimize the product range while maintaining accurate product data and confidentiality of formulas and know-how.
• Implement the Patisserie Mixes strategy with R&D, marketing, product management, purchasing, and quality teams.
• Provide technical support for ingredient sourcing, production processes, quality systems, and customer projects.
• Support quality assurance, quality control, GMP, industrial sales, and technical customer service.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in food technology.
• 1–3 years of experience in product development; patisserie industry experience is an advantage.
• Analytical skills, a hands-on attitude, strong communication and presentation skills, and a team-oriented approach.
• Fluent English and Hungarian, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel within Hungary and occasionally abroad for up to 30% of the time.
