MBSE Engineer (Systems Engineering)

Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands. The role requires being based in the Netherlands.

What you will do

• Create and maintain SysML-based system and subsystem models covering structure, behavior, requirements, and parametric aspects.
• Ensure model quality through conventions, validation, reviews, and traceability.
• Apply and improve MetaModel and DataModel definitions, including model customization practices.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and architects across different architectural levels.
• Support onboarding and coaching sessions for MBSE adoption.
• Share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of Systems Engineering methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software, Systems, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in R&D, ideally in a regulated environment.
• Solid foundation in Systems Engineering, including requirements engineering, risk management, and design control.
• Practical model-author experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo or MagicDraw, plus proficiency in SysML.
• Familiarity with structured expressions, validation rules, profiles, and model customization.
• Fluent English and working location in the Netherlands are required.
