Project Manager, Construction

Location: Edmonton or Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Activity-Based Work model with office collaboration and remote work for focused tasks.

Salary: $95,000–$120,000 base compensation annually, excluding bonuses, equity, benefits, and other incentives.

What you will do

• Lead commercial real-estate and development projects from initiation through completion, managing timelines, budgets, quality, and risks.
• Act as the primary client contact and align project objectives with public sector strategies and goals.
• Coordinate client teams, consultants, contractors, design partners, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare project schedules, development budgets, procurement documents, reports, and recommendations.
• Evaluate proposals and qualifications, support contract negotiation and administration, and monitor project progress.
• Lead client, design, and construction progress meetings while mentoring junior project staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or certification in engineering, construction, architecture, or a related field.
• 5–15 years of experience in urban planning, construction, design, or project management.
• Experience managing multiple commercial real-estate projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documents and presentations.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prepare proposals, budgets, and schedules.
• Technical knowledge of design and construction processes and experience with project management software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
