Project Manager (Utility Software)

Location: Remote anywhere in Canada, with EST timezone alignment required. International travel is required as needed, approximately 5%. Candidates must hold a valid passport and be legally eligible to travel to Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean.

What you will do

• Lead multifunctional project teams delivering mission-critical software implementations.
• Review statements of work and create project plans for specified solutions.
• Lead consultants through utility billing and client information system implementations for new and existing clients.
• Provide project updates, manage client expectations, and support high-quality software delivery.
• Manage project financials and proactively resolve issues that could affect timelines or client outcomes.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and apply lessons learned to improve future projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing enterprise or client information system software implementation projects.
• Strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of software system implementation activities.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in challenging situations.
• Must be based in Canada and able to work in the EST timezone.
• Must be legally eligible for required international travel and hold a valid passport.
• Comfort using AI-enabled technologies, including copilots, chat-based AI assistants, and automation tools, with appropriate judgment, security, and compliance.
