What you will do

• Architect and implement scalable backend microservices within the Payments, Disbursements, or GRC squads.
• Develop secure systems for fund collection and optimize transaction processing.
• Design robust services for the timely and secure disbursement of funds to beneficiaries.
• Build and enhance systems for user onboarding, KYC, and compliance to meet regulatory standards.
• Manage GCP infrastructure capable of handling millions of daily requests.
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices across the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• English: Upper-intermediate (B2) or higher required.
• Proven track record of building and iterating software applications, specifically in the Fintech domain.
• Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and REST API design.
• Experience with Hexagonal Architecture and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Knowledge of security protocols, compliance standards, and KYC/AML processes.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Python, Flask/FastAPI, gRPC, and Redis.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Firestore, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, BigQuery).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Terraform.
