What you will do

• Build and maintain internal APIs and backend services to surface portfolio analytics and market data.
• Develop and extend scheduled data pipelines and orchestration workflows in containerized environments.
• Implement AI capabilities including LLM APIs, agentic workflows, and multi-model architectures.
• Create and maintain a shared library of AI plugins and skills for investment professionals.
• Manage structured databases to ensure research and operational data is accessible and actionable.
• Contribute to engineering best practices, including CI/CD pipelines and version control.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in quantitative development, analytics engineering, or a similar financial role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL (PostgreSQL).
• Hands-on experience building production-grade backend services and APIs.
• Proven experience with AI/LLM integration, prompt engineering, and agentic frameworks.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and workflow orchestration tools like Prefect or Airflow.
• Must be based in New York, NY and comfortable working in a business-facing, high-pace environment.

Nice to have

• Experience building dashboards or frontend interfaces using Streamlit or React.
• Exposure to alternative data ingestion or vendor API integrations.
• Prior experience in a hedge fund or multi-manager platform.
