Business Consulting Director / Manager (IoT): Developing value propositions and ROI models for high-complexity enterprise deals in the construction IoT sector with an accent on value engineering and strategic business consulting. Location: Based in North America (preferred). Hybrid setup available in Canada (London) and US (Chicago).
Salary: $130,000–$170,000 per year (base)

What you will do
- Own value engineering for complex enterprise deals, quantifying ROI, TCO, and business impact of solutions.
- Build data-driven business cases tailored for C-suite and economic buyers.
- Design and iterate value frameworks and pricing justification tools for the sales organization.
- Act as a strategic advisor to enterprise prospects, diagnosing operational and commercial challenges.
- Facilitate executive-level workshops and discovery sessions to accelerate deal velocity.
- Partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to embed value consulting into the sales motion.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years in value engineering, management consulting, or enterprise pre-sales.
- Professional experience in SaaS, IoT, or industrial technology.
- Proven ability to build executive-level business cases and ROI models.
- Based in North America (preferred) with willingness to travel within the Americas.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presence.
- Deep understanding of construction, equipment rental, or adjacent industries (strong advantage).
