What you will do

• Manage US and Canadian payroll tax activities and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll tax filings with the general ledger and tax service reports.
• Maintain payroll tax databases, including tax codes, withholding tables, and State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) rates.
• Resolve internal and external tax inquiries, handle IRS notices, and provide data for audits.
• Analyze payroll tax data to ensure accurate and timely deposits per regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Columbus, Georgia
• 2+ years of professional multi-state payroll tax analysis or administration experience.
• Associate's degree in Finance, business, or a related analytical field.
• Proficiency in Basic Excel and experience with Payroll, Time & Attendance systems.
• Knowledge of Federal and State payroll and labor laws.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Human Resources.
