What you will do

• Process end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of clients with varying pay frequencies (weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly).
• Validate payroll data including earnings, deductions, and taxes to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
• Serve as the primary consultative contact for clients, providing guidance on payroll best practices and compliance.
• Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations, supporting tax filings and year-end activities.
• Audit payroll inputs and outputs to investigate and resolve errors or variances in collaboration with internal teams.
• Manage payroll configurations and automate manual processes within systems such as UKG Pro, ADP, or Workday.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in multi-client payroll processing.
• Strong expertise in multi-frequency and multi-state payroll tax knowledge.
• Proficiency with payroll systems, with a strong preference for UKG.
• Must be based in the United States.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines.

Nice to have

• CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification.
• Experience working within a managed services or consulting environment.
• Hands-on experience with year-end payroll activities, including W-2s and audits.
• Degree from an accredited university.
