Salary: $73,955–$100,059 per year

What you will do
- Review and validate compliance in Workday payroll setup, partnering with HR to implement necessary changes.
- Monitor federal, state, and local payroll laws to identify and address system gaps.
- Manage payroll compliance reporting, including SOC reporting and local tax maintenance.
- Partner with the Sr Payroll Analyst to conduct audits, investigate discrepancies, and drive process improvements.
- Develop training content on payroll compliance for Payroll Administrators and HRIS teams.
- Serve as a backup for payroll processing and audit functions.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States
- CPP or FPC certification, or equivalent knowledge.
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll compliance.
- Working knowledge of Workday payroll, including tax setup and on-demand processing.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess system configurations and create action plans.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Nice to have
- Experience working with Statutory Employees in a multi-state environment.
- Specific payroll tax experience.
