Salary: $73,955–$100,059 per year

What you will do

• Review and validate compliance in Workday payroll setup, partnering with HR to implement necessary changes.
• Monitor federal, state, and local payroll laws to identify and address system gaps.
• Manage payroll compliance reporting, including SOC reporting and local tax maintenance.
• Partner with the Sr Payroll Analyst to conduct audits, investigate discrepancies, and drive process improvements.
• Develop training content on payroll compliance for Payroll Administrators and HRIS teams.
• Serve as a backup for payroll processing and audit functions.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• CPP or FPC certification, or equivalent knowledge.
• Proven experience with multi-state payroll compliance.
• Working knowledge of Workday payroll, including tax setup and on-demand processing.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess system configurations and create action plans.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

• Experience working with Statutory Employees in a multi-state environment.
• Specific payroll tax experience.
