What you will do
- Lead and mentor a team of Mid-Market Specialists to cultivate and expand relationships within the merchant services landscape.
- Architect strategic engagement and territory management plans for mid-market businesses.
- Guide the team in financial consultancy, risk management, and optimization of AR/AP processes.
- Navigate complex sales scenarios and negotiate favorable rates and terms across various industries.
- Spearhead AI innovation within the sales team to uncover new opportunities and refine strategies.
- Manage and coach the team on maintaining a robust sales pipeline using Salesforce.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of Sales Management experience.
- Proven experience leading teams with high-value multi-location business clients.
- Background in software or technology sales, ideally within the financial services sector.
- Expertise in merchant services, including managing complex sales cycles and negotiations.
- Deep understanding of money movement financial processes (AR and AP).
- Proficiency in Salesforce, CRM software, and AI tools.
