TL;DR

Marketing Development Partner, Public Sector (SaaS): Driving pipeline and cultivating relationships with public sector prospects to stop identity fraud with an accent on lead generation and strategic outreach. Focus on qualifying high-value opportunities, managing cold outreach campaigns, and accelerating deal velocity for the sales team.

Location: Hybrid (Washington DC) - Must be based within 45 miles of Washington DC and come into the office on a regular basis

Salary: $80K – $90K + Equity + Commission

What you will do

  • Execute strategic cold calls, email campaigns, and social media outreach to generate and qualify leads.
  • Research and identify potential clients and target industries within the public sector.
  • Follow up on inbound leads and referrals while maintaining strict CRM hygiene.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership and Marketing to develop effective pipeline development strategies.
  • Articulate the company's value proposition to prospects and schedule product demonstrations for the sales team.
  • Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

Requirements

  • Must be located within 45 miles of Washington DC and able to visit the office regularly.
  • Prior experience as a Sales Development Representative or Account Executive with SaaS products.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle 100+ phone calls per day.
  • Strong analytical skills and a creative problem-solving approach.

Nice to have

  • Experience in Identity Verification, Fraud, or Compliance spaces.
  • Familiarity with Outreach.io, Apollo, ZoomInfo, Salesforce CRM, and 6Sense.
  • Background in SaaS, FinTech, Security Tech, or Startups.
