What you will do

• Lead Engineering for hirify.global Payments, managing a group of Engineering Managers and Software Developers.
• Drive strategic execution by navigating ambiguity and aligning goals across cross-functional teams.
• Mentor and develop engineers into future technical and people leaders.
• Architect and scale resilient business systems, focusing on event-driven cloud paradigms.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality outcomes.
• Guide the continuous evolution of systems, patterns, and technical architecture.

Requirements

• Strong software development background with expertise in multiple stacks (e.g., Node, JVM, .NET).
• Expertise in designing scalable, maintainable cloud systems across multiple regions.
• Proven experience leading other leaders within a software engineering organization.
• Deep knowledge of modern software delivery practices, including continuous delivery and lean practices.
• Experience owning technology or product for a complete line of business.
• Location: Must be based in Canada or USA and available to work EST/EDT hours.
